Fusing primary materials
Wool is known for its purity, softness, strength, versatility and technical benefits. It’s one of the most breathable fibers, able to absorb and evaporate moisture and regulate temperature.
Leather fused with wool creates exceptional aesthetics and powerful performance properties, with climate control and comfort the main benefit. The temperature regulating aspect works for this leather all year round, and avoiding chills with perspiration as it warms with the moisture.
The irregular surface is created by working with the natural shrinkage reaction of the wool fibers during the washing and milling process with the fused leather. The new leather is extremely suitable for unlined constructions, enabling a minimalistic approach in manufacturing, cutting down on resources, both material and production.
