Uncover the ISETAN MEN’S X ECCO Leather Goods capsule collection. Along with providing premium leathers for luxury and designer brands, ECCO also offers a line of own-brand shoes and leather goods. Featured in the Shinjuku installation is an exclusive capsule created in partnership with ISETAN MEN’S. The ‘Urban Hiker’ collection of bags showcases the innovative FSDX Dyneema® leather, which is incredibly strong and durable yet ultra-lightweight – ideal if walking is your preferred mode of city transport.
Also featured are the UTW63716 by Studio Hagel pieces crafted from ECCO Vesper leather that re-shapes and intensifies with use, transforming from a flat to pebbled character over time. The utilitarian-style bags take cues from work and techwear, and capture the energy of adventurous global commuters. A limited edition of pieces are available exclusively at the installation.
Take advantage of ECCO’s visionary approach to shoes. Applying the same spirit of innovation and co-creation to footwear, ECCO Shoes have three further installations at ISETAN MEN’S. At the Quant-U installation you can make use of a foot scanner to analyse and then 3D print your own individually optimised midsole. With the midsole responsible for 70% of your shoe’s fit, this innovation puts comfort front and centre.
On the same floor ECCO Shoes are launching their latest formal shoe offering, the ECCO Vitrus Mondial. This leather-soled European Dress shoe is crafted from the new hand-finished Oxford calf crust leather in leaner, more slender and lower-profile silhouettes than ever before.
View the NEO NATURE by ECCO Leather concept installation. A leather celebrating the beauty, sophistication and the transformative ageing properties of NEO NATURE, the modern translation of ECCO Leather’s vegetable tanned leather. The installation represents the creation of a new world shaped in CGI about dreamed architecture by Alexis Christodoulou. Developed in collaboration with Berlin based online media platform IGNANT.
Finally, you can also shop the special collection from UTW63716 by Studio Hagel in the designer shoe zone on the same floor. First premiered at the brand’s experimental store W21 in Amsterdam, the collection features some of the more extreme leather innovations such as translucent, reflective, and neon finishes.
